Post Yeast Infection irritation; Fungal ??? Treatment

My situation:  After unprotected sex with F that had yeast infection, was tested for STD (visually), then applied creams (Miconazole, Lotramin, Cortizone) and pill (Diflucan), over the course of 2 months.  Every time the symptoms would diminish to virtually nothing, just to re-appear with sexual activity/friction/masturbation.  In the case of Masturbation, my hand would have a mild, but annoying breakout of rash, similar to Ringworm.  

Does this type of spreading imply a Fungal infection ???
What are best treatments ???
I think I need a stronger dose of Patience and Abstinence.

Please make recommendation - TIA - Worried1 - Losing Patience.

After several weeks and several doctors, have finally found relief.  Basically, using an anti-bacterial soap on irritated areas of penis and palms allowed a fungal infection to take hold in both areas.  Mentax creme on palms 2x/day has caused symptoms to cease, and Lotrimin powder on penis 2x/day has relieved symptoms in this area.  Doctors had been advising moisturizers and lotions on penis which is NOT helpful for this kind of rash and actually prolonged symptoms.  Keeping the area bone dry and wearing loose clothing, then applying the medicated powder was the only thing that allowed the healing to commence.

Strangely, I have had the exact same symptoms over the past eight weeks, i.e. rash on penis and ringworm-like sores on hands.  These symptoms started after unprotected sex and then washing with an antibacterial soap.  Doctors have suggested that the symptoms may be an allegic reaction to the brand of soap.  Have used hydrocortisone on penis which seems to have taken down the rash for the moment, but the symptoms on the hands don't seem to be changing.  If anyone has any more insight into this, please reply.

Yeast and fungal infections don't keep coming and going in the way you describe.  Irritations do.  I suggest either minimizing the friction-inducing activities, or mitigating their effects by applying moisturizing creams and over-the-counter 1% hydrocortisone when the redness appears.  There's no issue of transmissiblity, to your hands or to anyone else.  You just need patience (and acceptamce that irritations do come from time to time), not abstinence.

If this regime doesn't work promptly, have a doctor check you out, just for peace of mind.

For what it's worth, yeast infections, common in women, are not often translitted to their partners.
