Pubic And Anal Itch

Hello,

A little over a year ago i developed a minor Anal itch. I have been to the doctor numerous times and I have taken 3 different medicines and 4 different creams. Hydrocortazone hasnt helped. Nothing has helped. The medicine would make it go away a little big, but it came back. I was told it was a fungus, but no matter what it wont go away. It has spread to my pubic area, not as much as my anal area though. I is almost never on the penis, but usually around where the pubic hairs are around my testicles or between my penis and my testicles. And a lot of times on my upper thighes between where my legs meet my pubic area. Some days it is much worse than others. About once a month, I also have itching under my armpits that seems like the same thing, but that itching always goes aways. Lately it has become more of a painful itch. I have tried keeping myself away from certian foods for a while, one after another i eliminated that food or drink, still nothing has helped. I have tried different soaps and detergents and still nothing. It usually occurs more at night than any other time. I dont know if it is related, but only for the past 3 months or so I have had an itch on my back that is hard to reach with my arms. Right in the middle of my back. Please let me know what else I can Try.

Anal itch, scalp itch, inner ear, elbows and shoulder itch. After numerous dermatologists calling it many different names and none of their prescriptions working, finally one of them diagnosed it as Candida and the
correct process to treat is:
first do a parasite cleanse as they go hand in hand with candida.
I recommend 'Para - Cleanse' (find it on the web - it is Chinese herbs)
Take the ten day supply then stay off for ten days then on for ten days
then off for ten days then on for ten days until you have done the 10 day supply
three times.
Be sure you are on a sugar (this includes ALL sweeteners) FREE diet eating mostly
fresh, seasonal vegetables and fruits, preferably organic and staying away from the sweetest fruits like bannanas. Avoid carbohydrates (as these are sugars).
Eat well cooked (no sushi) fish and chicken, lamb and occasional steak.
Try to buy organic.
After completion of the Para cleanse, you must get a prescription for
400 mg Ketoconazole. The 200 is too weak of a dose.
Do the sugar free diet while on the Ketoconazole for 6 weeks at least.
When you have finished, go to a homeopath or naturopath and do a cleanse
for the drug residual in your body. Milk Thistle is excellent for cleansing the liver.
I'm not a doctor - I had this all for 3 years - imagine the daily horrific rectal itch and nothing helped, trying everything and many doctors and alternatives and this was what finally worked.
You may find that all your symptoms disappear after the para cleanse. In this case, you may be lucky and not have to take the meds.

Good Grief! The only thing missing from your cure is walking round a willow tree starkers during the full moon!
I live on a tropical isle, heat and humidity are constants companions and recently, for the first time, I have been getting rashes, ordinary heat rash, that Hydrocortisone and Urtica Urens keep under control, (my job as a furniture maker leads to clogged pores. Much worse is the jock itch that made it's appearance about 3 weeks ago, dozens of red spots on my inner thighs and itchy, burning scrotum, pubic region and even at the stem of my penis. Creams made it worse, so did pure talc. It was worse at night, or early morning, and better in the day, even though I sweated more. In the end I washed frequently and applied Betadine swabs, but it still returned in a short while. Working on the fact that common household bleach kills just about anything, I used a wet flannel with a little bleach poured on it and really scrubbed the affected area and around it too, it stung like hell at first, I didn't dry off, just left the air get to it and the itching eased for some time. Every time it started again, I would scrub again, 5 or 6 times a day, until after 2 days it lessened and the stinging stopped. It's more or less gone now, but I will still scrub at least twice a day for a while to be on the safe side. Of course, one must bleach everything that risks contact with your nether regions, especially the loo seat!
Athough I have a fair skin, I was not susceptible to skin problems before, I work with Epoxy and other products, I repair outboards and the fuel has no effect, so it's not an allergy, but if bleach cures it, it must be fungal.
Of course, if you have an allergy to bleach, hard luck! (And Doc's right, I had at least two different rashes, one fungal, one not.)

If you check out HIDRADENITIS on any search page, you'll be surprised at what you find.  In many cases, an irritating or just pain-in-the-ahem, neck itch can be this disease.  If nothing else, you'll be able to rule this OUT and hopefully go on to the next malady to see if you have those symptoms.

Good luck all and please keep posted on your progress/research.

OHMYGOSH!

I have the nearly the EXACT same symptoms as monkyboy (I think that was his name).  I don't know what to do either!  I am a girl however, and mine is not around the anus but on my upper thighs, lower back, sometimes all over, and yes, UNDER THE ARMS JUST LIKE YOU.  And like you, no dr can help me:(  I don't know what to do either.  Everyone just keeps telling me I'm having an allergic reaction.  I wish there was some way we could correspond so that when one of us gets an answer, they can help out the other one.  Mine is worse at night too.  And it's so hard to show doctors what you're talking about cause during the day it's nothing.  IT'S SOOOOOOOO IRRITATING.  If you can, post a reply so I know you know you're not the only one, cause up until today I thought I was.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
First of all, the itch you feel under your arms and on your back is certainly not related.  Second, itch in the anal and pubic areas is very common and of little significance other than being annoying.  I doubt you have a fungus, based on your description.  My advice is to apply nothing containing any active medication (cortisone, antifungal), since these haven't helped.  I would just wash gently, use a mild soap, and a bland moisturizer.  And if you get a little itch anyway, I would apply lotion and ignore it.  The more you thin k about this, the more it bothers.  If you're worried that you have some sort of disease--I doubt you do--you should get a medical opinion you are confident in and stick to what you hear.  I can't thin k of any serious or permanent conditions that sound like what you're describing.

Best.
