Help - Red irritation on tip of penis and underneath

Hello,

I'm a 28 year old male.  For the past year I have had an red irritation on the tip of my penis, sometimes around where the shaft and the head connect, and on the under part of the penis head starting from the urethra.  I also experience itchiness around my testicals sometimes.  Sometimes there's a red line that formulates down the shaft of my penis on the underside.  It's always there for the first inch or so starting from the head.  I've tried cordizon cream, anti yeast cream, anti fundgal cream, and some lotions and nothing seems to work.  I've seen two dermatologist at a top hospital in Chicago and the more experience one told me to use Cereva cream for a couple months and that it didn't look serious, only like simple irritation.  We had a follow up in late Feb but I just moved to California so wasn't able to see him (I did get a recommendation from him for a dermatologist in Cali and will be setting something up hopefully soon).  The Cereva lotion didn't work.  It does get a little worse after sex or masterbation, I can feel the irritation whenever I stop and think about it, and this problem just came out of no where about a year ago.

The thing is, no one seems to know what this is.  I thought balanitis (I'm circumsized however), because that's the closest to my symptoms, but I'm not sure.  Also, my partner tends to get yeast infections pretty regularily (which I read was a sign of balanitis) after sex.  I've been on anti-biotics too for a normal cold a couple months ago and nothing.  I'm at wits end.  It hurts to have sex, I'm not enjoying it, I've been tested and they found nothing, and I don't know what to do.  Thoughts/help?

I have a couple photos too if you need to see them.  I did post this in the general forum under the same title with the photo attached.

That is the plan but when it hurts during sex or just doesn't feel good, it can be taxing on the mind.  Not to mention it's red and irritated so you think, "What is going on?"  Hopefully the new doctor can shed some light on this.

Thanks

I doubt you have anything wrong with you at all.  Many people see me or send me posts about redness that they think is abnormal.  The dermatologist you saw didn't think it was, because he only recommended a non-medicated moisturizer.  I think the itch and pain you feel are most likely from anxiety that you have something wrong with you.  What I recommend is that you consult a skin doctor where you live now, get examined, and ask straight out whether there's anything wrong.  If the answer is no, then you should stop worrying about this and ignore it.

Best.
