hi, i've noticed that i have these mini fluid filled blisters. they are very sensitive and feel like a fresh skinned scab. once, they appeared on my forehead, and i would pop them, the area turned a red color and they would immediately fill up again. it was there for about 4 or 5 days and then it went away. months later, they appeared again on my right forearm. eventually they went away but the scarring turned into a spotted pattern jus as the blisters were there before. its been ok for a while but now again, those mini blisters appeared again on the same arm, the same spot within the same scarred pattern as before. i used some blue star ointment and i can see the immediate improvement. could this be a spider bite, and it jus keeps coming back?? or is this something i need to get checked out?? ***@**** email me pls
Im also in the same boat as the rest of you guys, but has anyone ever gotten these oil filled bumps on their fingers and in between their toes or is it just me ?
Dermatitis herperaformus or DH. Celica disease of the skin. Look this up. This causes break outs of water blisters. The spelling is probably incorrect but close enough to research. Gluten free diet is the only thing they helped. And if you have DH the only medicine is a drug called dapsone.
I know it's been a long time since your post, but do you know what these are? I have a similar one on the tip of my nose and it worries me.
I came on here last night looking for answers to the same question... little water or puss-filled raised spots on my chin that keep coming back. I've struggled with these in the past around the lines by my nose as well as multiple times recently on both sides of my chin. I,too, was "blessed" with herpes many years ago, so thought it might be that and have often tried to treat them with my herpes medication. I was prescribed a steroid cream for another random raised bump on my arm a while back and have a bunch left over. The prescribing doctor said the ointment was prescribed for a variety of skin conditions. While I wouldn't recommend randomly using medications for uses other than what they were prescribed, I was at my wit's end with these bumps and tried it last night. Guess what?! POOF. Today, the bumps had dried up and are nearly gone. OVERNIGHT. Not saying this is a cure-all (and you should definitely talk to a dermatologist about it), but it worked!!! Coincidentally, I did put this on just before bed and had the worst time sleeping (I usally always pass straight out). Not sure if it's coincidence, but maybe don't slather it on right before bed if you want to get a restful night's sleep! Just sayin. Best of luck!
I have had one or two of these water filled blisters on my neck over the past 20 years I would scratch them and they would ooze clear fluid for afew days then heal and go away. Now I have 12 or more on the back of my neck I try not to scratch but they get itchy. I keep the area clean .but I think what causing them is some thing in my diet or stress . tea tree oil ( an anti fungal oil) helps slow down the bump growth and relieve some of the itching.
At 28 years old I stopped drinking ( a change in my diet ) at 29 yrs old they started to appear maybe one every 2 to 3 months . Bug bite a skin iratation. But now at 61 yrs old I had a outbreak on the back of my neck 10 to 20 at time it takes about 2 weeks until a cluster of them are gone .No diet change but I noticed that the town water changed .less chlorine in the water maybe the chlorinated water kept these itchy bumps under control(chlorine also an anti fungal)
same thing is happening to me, they are spreading all over, I am so happy to hear others have them, but sad to know that there is really nothing to do agout them, some days they are sooo bad,it looks like i have chicken pox or some disease. so embaressing too be in my mid 40's & have "acne"so bad!! have tried various creams & cleansers & the only thing that seems to help mine is clearasil Ultra cream, vanishing acne treatment cream, tried it on my chin for couple of days & cleared right up,not coming back, knock on wood,so now applying to forehead, chest area & back, have had one on my leg for over 10 yrs so these things r very persitent, hoping this cream will keep on working.the active ingredient is benzoyl peroxide!! comes in a white tube w/blue lettering, very affordable & lets pray it keeps on working on my whole body. will keep this page updated.
Did the hydrogen peroxide work? I have these all over my face, chest, and shoulders....
I have got these especially bad on my right index finger, and it seems to be seasonal. Tiny, painless, water/oil filled bumps that rupture easily and are itchy. Really really annoying and not much to look at either.
I had it break out particularly bad last summer, and I ended up obsessing over it and picking it apart. not the best idea as it all ruptured and simply would not stop leaking water. I got pretty mad so I wrapped it up with some paper towel as hard as I physically could with a paper towel. After a few days of that, the leaking and formation of bumps stopped, leaving behind a large, but uniform area of lightly scarred skin. And imo it actually came out looking pretty nice for something that was scarred, albeit I had some dry skin issues afterwards.
But of course now the bumps are back, with a few on my other fingers as well. Not as many as on my right index finger though.
And I can't do anything about it because I can't afford insurance. Damnit.
So anyone know what I can do about this then?
I came on here hoping to find out how to get rid of these water bumps on my face but it seems no one knows. Mine feel itchy if I don't get the water out of them but then they look like blisters after. Once one starts to go away another one forms. They even moved onto my hand and back. I can't live like this I want to hide myself!
They are oiled filled warts and your dermatoligist can use a hot needle to burn them out costs about $250.00 au. and you cant claim medicare for it i have them on my forehead and went to the Dermatoigist and he explained what they were and how to remove them, hope this helps
It's NOT Herpes! And freezing it would be a very bad idea as that would make the scaring much worse. So is squeezing them because they can carry MRSA and you'll make it spread. I ended up spreading it and it turned into Bacterial Meningitis that almost killed me. It's an alergic reaction to the meds I have to take. I have to take alot of meds because my aorta ruptured in three places. I have to take 2 different kinds of pain meds, a muscle relaxer, a very light dose of Methotrexate cause I also have psoriasis, and 5 other types of bp meds as well as anti-depressents and various other meds. So my system has a hard time dealing with all the meds. Every now and then it causes what your describing. One of my doctors said it is hives and it's normal. DO NOT go freezing them!
If you see your family Dr or dermatologist they can use liquid nitrogen to freeze these water filled bumps, or you can buy the wart removal kit that uses the liquid nitrogen and do it at home but you risk doing it improperly. I have bought the kit and done this myself and it stops the bumps from filling up with the water but you still are left with the enlarged pore
same problem i no ur not suposed 2 use steroid cream on ur face but i plaster it on then they go 4 a couple of weeks then soon as they come back i do the same id rava hav thin skin that that
I have just had one on my chin.
Dabbing the water for 1 hour does not help as it scabs over and after a shower starts again.
I have applied a few drops of Hydrogen Peroxide to clean whatever is underneath and it bubbles for a few minutes. This indicates there is something to be cleaned.
As no one seems to know how to fix this, I've decided to kill any bacteria with application of Hydrogen Peroxide every 3 hours.
Will keep you all posted with results.
I have had similar painful blisters in my chin, over an old abscess scar. It feels like a scraped knee, or road rash, They are water filled, won't bleed. And scab over. My fear, is that the water is a carrier, So I may have scratched something open and spread it to where it is. After searching, I think they could be a form of herpes or shingles . I have had the pox at 15 and was blessed with herpes:( at 30. I am now 50. On rare occasions, I relapse and I will break out with a cold sore like lesion near my rectum. This is contagious, and I am even more through at hand washing after the toilet. When home, I wash my hands with bleach and nail brush. Shingles can "POP" up, so to speak if you have ever had chicken pox. As with herpes, which chicken pox is a form of, the virus lays dormant for years and can surface as we age or lose our immune system. I can't always be surgically meticulous, but I sure try. Not so much for me, but if we carry it on our hands,,,,,,watch out. That handshake or cupping the grandkids face, or sharing that bag of chips with your granny...... thats how we start an outbreak....
OMG I AM HAVING THIS ON MY NECK AND BEARD AREA .... I WANT TO MY DOC WHO SENT ME TO DERM AND I ITS STILL COMMING UP ON MY FACE
My water filled bumps pop. They pop so many times before they scab over its pathetic.
i have soft bumps on my face and neck. I squeeze them and water squirts out. They fill up again almost immediately. I have to squeze them many times before they stop filling up again and then they scab over and sometime when the scab falls off they are still there and I have to go through the same process. They are really an eyesore and this is really getting monotonoeus.
I have the same or something similiar. It's called hydrosystoma (not sure on spelling). When the physician opened them, water squirted out profusely. Soon after, not even a day, I could tell they started filling up again. The doctors basically said there was nothing I could do about them. They would continue to come back. Some had some fatty tissue inside and were hard which means they were probably not the same type. One plastic surgeon tried cutting them out, but they returned with a vengeance and he did not do such a good job cosmetically.
I believe there is some type of cure, or safe removal method from which they will not return, it's just that no one has found it yet.
HI,
Thanks for the comment. They don't look like warts, and I know for sure they are not skin tags or molluscum. They just look like liquid-filled bumps. They are soft to the touch like a fresh blister would be, but very small and not raised as prominently as a pimple would be. I have not tried to pop them for fear of scarring. I've even tried home-remedy Vitamin C paste overnight; it stung but no results that I can see....
