Rash and flaking after sex with a condom

I just recently became sexually active - she said she was clean and had been tested a few weeks ago.
She provided the condom and the day after my first sexual experience,  my penis was sore and sensitive, and burned a little. The second day it burned all over my penis and base/top of scrotum.  I was kind of freaking out and thought that maybe she had herpes and I got herpes.  Even though we used a condom, I did have my fingers inside her at one point and touched my penis without a condom afterwards.  Is it possible to get herpes that way?  Anyway the rash continued for a couple weeks and after that it seemed to be back to normal.  Then I used some astroglide once it cleared up, which I have used in the past and had no bad reactions to but then the rash seemed to come back.  I had used condoms a few times before while masturbating, so don't think I am allergic to latex.  Could it be the lubricate?  And why the reaction to Astroglide when no reaction before.

it sounds like it could be "rugburn" But you should get tested just to make sure
