Hello,
It can be due to pompholyx. The exact cause is not known and excessive sweating can be one of the reasons. But some triggers like allergic reaction to soaps, detergents, foods, latex, nickel etc may trigger the symptoms. Apply some calamine lotion on the affected area and keep the area well moisturized. Use only thin applications of moisturizer ointments as excessive amounts of ointment may restrict breathing of the skin and aggravate the condition.

Topical steroids can be applied but they are available under prescription. Moreover to prevent infection, topical antibiotics may be needed. I suggest you to consult a dermatologist and get it evaluated.

thank you for your answer.

In addition to these red flat spots. I have peeling skin on the palm of my hands. please see picture on my profile http://www.medhelp.org/user_photos/show/411018?personal_page_id=3039115.

I was also diagnosed with seborrheic dermatitis on my eyebrows.

I also recently discovered that I have Candida non-albican.

Please let me know your thoughts. Can all theses skin problems be due to Candida?

Hello,
This rash on palms can be due to contact dermatitis, allergies or pompholyx. The other is of contact dermatitis.  Do not use triamcinolone without your doctor’s guidance. Wash the areas several times with fresh water. Do not use any cosmetic products at the sites. You can apply some calamine lotion at the rash as it will help in soothing the skin. You can take some OTC oral antihistamine medications like Benadryl or Claritin and see if it helps.

For mild-moderate symptoms a weak steroid may be used but use them under medical guidance.
