Rashes on Penis Solution?

Hi,
I have red rashes around my glans penis for the past 2 weeks. The foreskin is inflamed, with light white spots, and does not retract much. I had an oral course of antibiotics that did not work (Cefoclox-6 tablets) and anti-fungal tablet (fluconazole -2 tablets in 1 week) treating yeast infections, but the symptoms are not are not subsiding. This is for the past two weeks with persistent irritation.I applied canestan cream, and Nystatin cream too. But to no help. What do I do now? Please reply a solution.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
From the symptoms it looks like balanitis. It is an inflammation of the glans penis
Oral course of antibiotics is needed. In addition, please don’t use any cosmetics on the penis, instead use some topical antimicrobials like Bacitracin or Lotrimin. Also corticosteroids and topical immunosuppressants can be used but they are available under prescription. Also retract the foreskin daily and soak in warm water to clean penis and foreskin. In case the symptoms persist then please consult a urologist/dermatologist for evaluation and antimicrobials and steroids prescription.
I hope it helps. Take care and please do keep us posted in case you have any additional doubts. Kind regards.
