19 dollars - thanks a lot for the concern doctor!!!!!
Thanks
I have been having concerns about HIV. Could KP become intense due to an HIV infection?
I have tested negative for HIV past the window period but am now doubting my results. The outbreak started 4 weeks after my exposure and now a year later it is worsening, covering my chest back and arms extensively
Thanks

Keratosis pilaris is a genetic condition. It may fluctuate in intensity for no particular reason. If it is annoying, you can minimize it by applying a lotion containing ammonium lactate (no prescription needed in US) and exfoliating the affected skin with a loofah for 20 seconds per day until the skin is smooth enough to be satisfactory.
Best.
