Red/ Purple dots on legs

I'm 17 years old and for years now I have had these redish-purple dots on my legs- mostly lower. They are NOT elevated at all and seem to be where the hair follicles are. Even if i don't shave for a while they are still there. My skin is VERY pale (I'm a redhead) so they are so noticeable. I don't even like to wear shorts/skirts because of it. they stop right at my ankle. Please if you have any info or idea what they are or how to get rid of them let me know. This condition is Only on my legs.

found this article......
These are very normal, around 70% of people have them in some form. They are not spots, but a discolored hair follicle that is no issue at all other than for cosmetic reasons (I have them a bit and find them a bit unattractive but not a major flaw).
Don't squeeze them! This Will only make them worse.
There's no sure way of getting rid of them, but try exfoliating whenever you shower, shaving with direction of your hair (on your legs) and following with a decent moisturiser. They should clear quite well.
Good luck!
