Red, splotchy, painless rash on back of head and neck

I didn't notice this until a couple months ago when I shaved my head, and I wasn't too worried about it since it was painless and didn't show up anywhere else. Thought it might just be an allergic reaction or razor burn. However, it has not gone away, and I believe it has actually spread. It is still painless, doesn't itch, nothing similar is anywhere else on my body, and I've had no other negative symptoms (headache, aches and pains, stiff neck, etc.).

I'm seeing a dermatologist on Friday, but freaking out in the meantime. Any ideas on what this might be while I'm waiting?

Thanks.

I have that exact rash on the back of my head and neck also. I've had mine for alittle over a month. Did you happen to go find out what it is?
