So the rash does not appear in the groin area?
No, I had jock itch for a bit, but it has all but cleared up.
Where do you apply the jock itch cream?
In the groin area.
Do you apply the cream to these involved areas?
The cream has no contact with the areas that show the bumps. After I applied the cream I washed my hands.
How would you define the red bumps?
They are different sizes and shapes. They itch a little, but it's bearable. They appear rapidly through out the day, and then they fade away. They appear 2-3 times a day like this.
Do they bear lesions containing clear fluid or pus?
No and no.
Do they itch?
Yes, a little.
Are they clustered together or do they occur singly?
It's kind of spread out along the arm, but there are some that are real close together. Its really random.
Do you have any history of allergies?
Yes, I know I'm allergic to shell fish, and that's all I know about.

This may be an allergic reaction to the cream if you directly apply the cream to the area. I suggest you stop using the cream for the meantime and have this evaluated by your primary physician. Your medications may be modified since other differentials will be contact dermatitis and a fungal infection.
