Red Spots Under Foreskin

Hello Dr. Rockoff.  I posted on the STD forum and have received advice from Dr. Handsfield, and he suggested I also post here for your opinion as well.

About 5 weeks ago I had red spots/bumps appear under my foreskin and below the glans.  And about a week or two after these spots appeared a secondary condition presented that looks like it could be sebaceous glands.  So I will try to describe these conditions for you the best I can.

There are about 6 red spots under the foreskin.  Like I said they have now been there about 5 weeks and have not changed.  They have not blistered or ulcerated, are painless, do not itch, and I have not experienced any discomfort during urination.  I tried antifungal cream for about 2 weeks but the condition did not respond.  So, I have basically just been keeping the area clean by washing with mild soap a couple of times a day.  Four of the spots are on the right side and another two are on the left.  There are two of these six bumps that are further down from the glans and are sometimes barely noticeable and kind of look like scrapes.  Overall, the spots are slightly raised with a fleshy red color and are not uniform in shape.

As for the secondary condition that I think might be sebaceous glands, these very small "bumps" go along the sides of my shaft and on the underside of the shaft.  In addition, the hair follicles are also prominent at the base of the shaft and on my testicles and the scrotum appears slightly red but is not irritated.  Sometimes the bumps seem to have a white core or something making its way out.  This substance is pretty small and I can sometimes get it with tweezers--but this is not to suggest that I am picking at the bumps.

For the red spots under the foreskin, I am obviously concerned about herpes, HPV, or wonder if it is some type of fordyce spots or balanitis.  The bumps on the shaft concern me for possibly being molluscum contagiosum.

Thank you for your help.

If you find out what it is, please post back here.  I've got the same problem (looks just like yours) and my doctor simply didn't seem to care/notice when I went to see him for this and another issue.

You're right that the pictures aren't very clear, but the spots neither sound nor look like warts.  They look like small cysts that have been tweezed.  The distribution and rapidity of onset argue against warts.  But what's the point of speculating?  Don't tweeze them for a few weeks and see a doctor in person.  That's the only way you're going to know what you actually have, so you can stop worrying.

Best.

Doctor,

Here are some images of the red spot lesions on the right side of my penis.  The photos are not the best, and the angle of the light seems to make some of the lesions look like blisters--but they are not blisters.  And you cannot see the secondary condition I described in these photos.
