Red blotchy spots on thigh by penis

I have blotchy spots on my thighs and by, not on, my penis, they are not circular but odd shaped and are smaller than a dime and don't appear itchy. Also I don't know if related but I have 1 pimple type thing on my scrotum that is painless till squeezed and emits a pus. Please help I'm freaked out.

Thank you for your help, I found out that the red blotchy spots are from working on the pipeline and sweating my *** off. I didn't know about the pimple on my scrotum but I thought it might be from ingrown hairs

Hi there,
It is difficult to confirm the exact cause without a complete clinical examination. Red blotches on the skin may be caused by an allergic reaction to pollen, detergents, foods and medication. Another possibility is Erythema multiforme .In this condition there are patches of red skin that may be raised or itchy. It may be seen after viral infections; use of medications etc.Autoimmune disorders like lupus can also cause red blotches. There are many skin rashes and infections which can mimic each other in appearance. It is best to get yourself checked by a dermatologist. Pimple like thing on the scrotum could be due to folliculitis, ingrown hair. Application of Neosporin ointment may help. If the symptoms are severe seek the opinion of a dermatologist. Hope it helps.
