Red bump on my face.

I have had this Red sort of bump on my left cheek for many years. For as long as i can remember really maybe like 10 years. It kind of resembles a pimple but for sure isnt and is sometimes a little more red some days. I need to know what this one dot on my face is so i can treat it. Can you help me out with a possible diagnostic of what is on my face. My best guess is a cluster of blood vessels or somthing along that line but would like to know some treatments.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
I cannot confirm anything without examination but it can be a cyst, keratoacanthoma or a spider angioma. A spider angioma is a grouping of small blood vessels at the skin surface. The pattern sometimes resembles the threads of a spider's web.

I suggest you to get it evaluated from a dermatologist as treatment is specific diagnosis.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.

You've never seen a dermatologist in all the time you've had about this?

Rosacea is the term used to describe face bumps (acne past adolescence) and redness.  Used to be called acne-rosacea.  If that is what you have, there are topical solutions and medications available.
Tetracycline is most effective antibiotic for condition.

With just one bump, it could be most anything.  Just wanted you to know about a common condition that causes face (and scalp) bumps.
