Hello,
You should get this red bump evaluated from a dermatologist as it can be a small cyst, fibrous papule of the nose or some benign skin growth which needs to be biopsied and the diagnosis be confirmed.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.

Hello,
Ii is difficult for me to confirm the diagnosis without a complete clinical examination. Acne, boils, rosacea and seborrheic dermatitis can also cause small, red bumps on the nose.Follicultis or  a boil can cause severe pain .It may appear as a painful red bump and would be filled with pus.It is best to get it seen at the earliest. Once the diagnosis is confirmed treatment can be started accordingly. Do write to us again on how she is doing.
Best of luck and regards!
