Red bumps in pubic area

2 Nights ago had a long crazy night of sex with my GF, yesterday I noticed a couple bumps in my pubic hair region and they were rather itchy. This morning I woke up and it appears to have spread a little more (not on my penis or testicles) just in the area from the base of my shaft up to my stomach. They are itchy and feel raw to the touch. There is no pain in my urination or penis nor any signs of discharge. She mentioned today that she thinks she might have a small UTI. I have had a girls um juices on me before and got a sort of rash like this in the past, (I got checked and she and I were both std free) but not this bad. The doctor seemed to think it was either a heat rash or an alergic reation to the fluids. What is going am I allergic to vaginal fluids? Does she have an std that she just gave me?

Hello,
Thanks for posting your query.

From the description of your symptoms it looks like folliculitis. Chances of STD’s appearing so soon are very less. Folliculitis is the inflammation of one or more hair follicles. It starts when hair follicles are damaged by friction from clothing or blockage of the follicle. In your case, rough intercourse could have cause irritated hair follicles and hence folliculitis.

Wear cotton underwear and keep the area clean. Also use mild soaps like Dove. Apply Neosporin or Bactroban cream on the red bumps. If they decrease in size then it is folliculitis. If they remain the same then cysts should be ruled out.

Hope that this information helps and hope that you will get better soon.

Wishing you good health.

If she shaves down there, it is probably from her shaved area rubbing on you there. It is no different from what happens when you rub your shaved beard on our face. It gets a little raw and bumpy. No big deal. Just keep it clean and put on some lotion or neosporin if lotion burns.
