Red bumps on back of hands.

i have tiny red bumps over the backs of both of my hands. They are filled with clear liquid and when i scratch (i know i shouldn't), they burst. Some of the bumps turn into huge red raised patces. I also get them on the sides of my fingers. They do not look infected and are not at all dry, they are just smooth bumps.

I have had them for 3 or 4 years running, they disappear most of the tear but i often get a few bumps on my knuckles on a warm day. When it get really hot, like it is now where I am, both the back of my hands get covered in these bumps which spread on the forefinger and around the thumb.

Hi,

You could be allergic to some unknown substance or this could be sweat rash or some infection.

Do you have any other associated symptoms?

What work do you do? Do you handle any chemicals or soaps or detergents etc?

You could wash the area several times daily and apply calamine lotion at the sites.
Take some oral antihistamine medications for the itching.

Consult a skin specialist at the earliest and get a proper clinical examination, and try to find out the cause of your symptoms.

Let us know about how you are doing and what your doctor advises.

Regards.
