Red circle near to ear

please check picture. I have this for more than 2 months now. first it was in a day very dry.. so I was itching it and removing the flakes.

The skin became there thicker and it is as you see a circle. It seems that it started to heal but it didn't. Now 2 days it itches also a little bit from time to time. I am now covering it with creme and it looks like it looks in the picture, but when I did not use any creme, the skin became dry.

Can this be a cancer? or what else? May be Psoriasis? Eczema?

Please help...

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
From the symptoms it can be ringworm or nummular dermatitis. Nummular dermatitis is a sort of eczema and allergic reaction is an important cause. Take some antihistaminic like Benadryl or Claritin and apply some calamine lotion on the rash. Also wear cotton clothes and keep the skin sweat free. If the symptoms persist then please get it examined from a dermatologist.
It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
