Red dots around the eyes

My three year old has developed tiny red dots around her eyes.  She has not been sick or been vomiting.  I am just wondering what these are or if I should be concerned.

Hi, I'm 24 and have a red rash around both my eyes, on the outside of the soft tissue under my eyes. They seem to diminish but not entirely if I put Benadryl cream on them. I think it might be from an indoor pool I've been swimming in for exercise, but I don't have health insurance and don't know what to do! They seem to diminish if I miss a few days at the pool but they won't go away completely. Please help!!

Hi! My son woke up with dots like that around his eyes this morning... he's 4.  They aren't raised up, they are flat... and they don't itch.... they look like little blood dots - pin-size.  I'm very confused!  Did you find out what it is?

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hi

Are these red dots itchy?

Are there any eye redness, any tearing or watering of the eyes?

Any cough or nasal discharge lately?

I suggest that you have this assessed by her pediatrician. At this point , this may be a case of dermatitis however you have not mentioned of any itchiness in the area. A viral infection also need to be excluded here. Do not apply any lotions or creams on the area as this may only aggravate the condition.
