Red streak in the butt crack

Good afternoon.  I just noticed a red streak running up my butt crack - it does not itch or burn and it is not bleeding, it just looks like an irritated rash.  I would like to be sure there is no association with any kind of STD that I should be made aware of.  I'm hoping for confirmation that it's simply a skin irritant and will go away on its own...thank you for your time.

Thank you very much!  I will make an appointment - I have a feeling that because it has been so hot (and I recently rode my bike for 30 miles) that it could just be due to moisture.  I vvery much appreciate your response!

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL

Hello,
I cannot confirm anything without examination but it can be due to moisture(due to sweating or frequent washing), the abrasion caused by clothing, the pressure of sitting, chemical irritants like sopas, toilet paper and skin conditions like fungal infections, psoriasis, seborrhea and eczema.

I suggest you to get an evaluation done from a dermatologist as the treatment is different for all. Till that time, wear cotton clothes and apply some calamine lotion on the rash.
It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
