Red welts on scrotum and hips

Not too long ago I started experiencing severe itching on the sides of, and on my scrotum.  I also had itching on my hips, rear-end and lower thighs.  I've even had an itch on my chest.  Recently, my scrotum became quite red.   Then, yesterday, I noticed to red bumps/welts on my left hip, both itch but are not painful.  I also noticed about five red bumps/welts on my groin.  All separated by at least a half inch, all itchy and all about the size of a pencil eraser.  The itching is killing me.

I thought it was jock itch, so I bought lotrimin spray and have used it for two days, to no avail.  Very concerned.  Any idea?

I know this won't sound consoling but I have had the exact same symptoms for the past ten years. Initially I had a dermatologist say it looked like a form of excsema because of some slight ashiness at times. But believe me when I tell you that your symptoms are exactly like mine. Do you sometimes get red spots on your chest around your breastbone area? Diet is very Important to help relieve the severity. Avoid sugar and fermented drinks. Avoid stress. Avoid eating after Seven p.m. Moisten hand , then apply Boric Acid to Genital Area. All of this helps but sofar it hasn't gone away. The latest symptom is numbness along my outer thigh on my left side , the same as my hip welts. I'm getting worried what this might lead to. At the same time I know most doctors would just shrug their shoulders at a bunch of strange and seemingly unrelated symptoms.

I'm with you...  I've had something like this for 6 months now.   Scabies creme helped...but hasn't fixed it.    Tried alot of oils .. which also helped.
Thought it was bed bugs..   now not sure... maybe something related to scabies??
Its not dog scabies.
