Sebaceous Cyst

Yesterday morning I went to shower and my cyst that I've had for two years beneath my abdomen had become tender, red, swollen, and the actual cyst itself seems grayish blue. The skin around it seems harder like its a part of the cyst but i can't tell if that is just from being swollen. It is very painful. I showed it to my mother and she said, "they do that sometimes." But I've read that if not treated it could lead to sepsis? It is also opened. I did not do anything to make it do so. It has not drained much and it has not been any of the semi fluid that is said to be in cysts. Its been something pus like and blood. I have been putting antibacterial ointment on it and have a bandage over it, which is I would say medium size (goes long not like a square) and the white patch doesn't seem to cover it well. I do not know if what I am having is infected or not and I am not running a fever. Please, I will take any helpful information possible.

I think you need oral antibiotics.  Might be MRSA. Go to the dr.
