red cuts near groin

I contracted genital herpes 4 months ago.Aside from the intial penis blister that is now undetectable I have had very few symptons till recently.I developed red lines,almost like cuts where my upper thigh meets my torso and upper thigh hits scrotum area.Not terribly uncomfortable but upon close inspection there is a problem.Its almost where a pair of breif underwear would cause pressure.I take one Valtrex everyday as a suppression therapy.Will the Zoivarax cream help or something else?

Would I go to a urologist,a dermatologist or a GP if I need to?

You may have herpes, but that doesn't mean that every rash you get down below is related to it.  The rash you describe sounds like chafing of some sort, not herpes.  I advise you to leave these lines alone for couple of weeks and not do anything about them.  If they're still there then, show them to a doctor for definitive evaluation.  If they've gone, forget about them.
