Skin Bumps/ Humid Weather

Hi,

I am from a very dry climate and moved to a humid city. Every since I moved here my skin has never been the same. I have used "Silk Skin" homeopathic products for years and it looks like it doesn't work anymore. I can't even use the toner anymore becuase it causes bumps. What I have used to get rid of the bumps is Topsyn. That stuff is great, but bleaches the skin. And  I don't want to have to be using it every other day just remove the bumps. I tried a scrub on my face, but it looks like the bumps came out more. I stopped putting on the Silk Skin Moisturizer at night, to see if that is making me break out. Bumps are still there, decrease in size. They are just like patches of small bumps...sometimes they are larger along with white heads. I just want my skin to where it was, flawless. What do you think I should do and what are causing these bumps. I have even tried masks and it caused a break out. Please help!

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hi,

Under conditions of high humidity, the evaporation of sweat from the skin is decreased. This could make oil glands to become more active and makes oily skin oilier. It would be best to stop these skin care products for the time being. And it is important to keep your face clean and dry all the time. Avoid using any chemicals or masks in the face.

Are there other signs or symptoms present? If you have a history of allergies, this could also be the case. Anti histamine medications may be helpful with the itching. If it persists, it would be best to see your dermatologist for further evaluation and management.
