Im in the navy and i work on an aircraft carrier with hazardous fluids, jet fuel, and other hazardous materials and under the sun. I'm afraid about harming my skin what can i do to prevent skin conditions from occuring?
Barrier cremes containing zinc oxide and titanium dioxide to be applied on the skin is a way.

Prevention is better than cure.So use gloves and full sleeved shirts while coming in contact with these chemicals.
Wash the exposed areas several times with fresh water. Do not use any cosmetic products at the sites. You can apply some calamine lotion or a cream containing zinc oxide as it will help in soothing the skin.Also use plenty of mositurisers.
