Skin circle/ring

I have recently noticed circles appearing on my skin I get a circle the size of a small ring in between my thumb and pointed finger on and off and was not worried but then the other morning I noticed the same ring on my shoulder, it  looks as if I pressed a marker cap to the skin and held it and left and there is a red impression. its a hallow ring it does not itch and is not dry not raised or sunk in.....any ideas what it might be? I have looked at pictures of ringworm and it looks nothing like it

I have the same thing, small rings and one the size of a dime. I have about 4 or 5 smaller ones. I have tried fungus creams, clorox, and I am now using resinol, nothing seems to help. I went to Florida last year and it seemed to go away or either I was tan and didn't  see them.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
It is very difficult confirming a diagnosis without examination but one possibility that is coming to my mind is of granuloma annulare. Fingers, hands and upper portion of the body are the commonest site for these. Granuloma annulare is a chronic disease consisting of a rash with reddish bumps arranged in a circle or ring. Usually it is asymptomatic but due to cosmetic disfigurement topical or oral steroids may be needed. Please discuss about this with your dermatologist. Other possibilities are nummular dermatitis, ringworm or pityriasis rosea.

I hope it helps. Take care and please do keep me posted in case you have any additional doubts. Kind regards.
