Skin hanging from anus

Hey !
I hope someone can help me .
Can I at 21 get serious anal issues ? I'm very nervous
I see no blood no mucus no pain in abdomen no discomfort in bowel habits rather they are very smooth . But I have a 1.3 cm long skin hanging somewhere the end of anus and it frightens me . Plz suggest me what to do . Is that any serious issue ? That mass of skin doesn't pain or itch at all . All this makes me really tensed . Should I see a surgeon ?
Also I have decided to change my diet habits . I'm vegetarian since birth and have had constipation problems and once it also bled coz I was highly constipated . That happened twice only . But sometimes I do need to apply pressure on my abdomen to pass stools .

I would guess it was a hemorrhoid, but you said it doesn't hurt at all- which most commonly they would.  How long have you had this?  I'd just have a doctor take a quick look since you seem pretty worried about it- they are going to be the best source for an accurate diagnosis instead of just guessing without much knowledge of your history and condition.
