What can cause a dark spot on the lips, as if there was a concentration of blood beneath the surface? There is no actual bleeding, and no sensations whatsoever. The skin is otherwise normal, no blister or anything. The lips are a normal color, aside from the one darker area.

I should add that I think there is a tiny red dot in the middle of this dark patch.
