I have in front of both legs burning

I have in both legs in front of them burning. I went and had a test done for a ptich nerve. I had no pitch nerve in them. He didn't know what was causing this. He put me on medication for the burning. I took 1 time at bed time. I forgot the name of them. They had so many side effects.  I only took them 2 nightsThey made me feel like I was drunk and really off bounce the next day, and my legs started swelling.  Do you know anything a can take or put on them for the burning?

Hi, I am not a doctor, but I do have experience with a burning sensation in my thigh, front above the knee. I'm actually surprised the doctor even thought of a pinched nerve. He was probably on the right track, but looking in the wrong area. In my case, the nerve that is pinching is in my lower back. It is amazing how a pinched nerve on one's spine can severely effect other parts of our body. I would see a doctor that specializes in degenerative disc disease or herniated discs they may be able to help.
