Skin worse after Face Mask

Ok, I bought a couple products on a whim a few weeks ago and have used only two. One is a face mask [http://www.thebodyshop.com/bodyshop/browse/product_detail.jsp?categoryId=productRelatedItems&productId=prod170272] and the other is a facial cleanser [http://www.thebodyshop.com/bodyshop/browse/product_detail.jsp?categoryId=productRelatedItems&productId=prod170272]. I have used the mask as recommended for about 15 minutes a thin layer on the skin and after 2 times in a week it felt like it was doing great.

Then one night on the 2nd week I decided to use the facial wash and then put on the mask for about 20 minutes and then washed it off again. After this my skin has been breaking out on my forehead and chin. My skin was almost totally clear for a week and now it's actually worse. I have a huge pimple under my skin on my chin and on my forehead, they are swollen and noticeable but not fully "ripe" and still under the skin. The other pimples are small and I can't feel them at all they are located on the sides of my forehead where my hair meets my face and some on my lower cheeks.

I can't find anything on the internet about anyone who's used the Tea Tree Oil products and actually had a bad reaction. I have no allergies, as far as I know, either so I don't think it's that. Maybe it's because I recently moved back into my old apartment and it's a bit dusty? Or Maybe it's that I have all my windows open and the central air fan on 24/7 (really hot and don't want to spend money on AC to cool the entire apartment). I'm biracial and my skin gets fairly oily, is using an oil absorbing mask upsetting my balance maybe? These are all just ideas and things that I think might be factors but ultimately may not be, which is why I'm asking here.

Any comments or ideas on why my skin is acting up and getting worse even though I've only been taking more care would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Hi

The bumps were associated with your application of the skin care products. You have noted this the second time you have applied the products. You may have developed a sensitivity to some ingredients of the said facial mask and cleansers. However, you have defined the bumps to be pimple like. If this is contact dermatitis, the entire face should have been covered by a rash. A mild reaction could have occurred. As you have also mentioned, this may be a mild skin irritation caused by heat and dust. Try to apply a small amount of the facial mask and cleanser behind the ears and on the fold of the skin of the forearm. Let this stay for 24 hours. Try to observe if any form of redness or irritation occurs.
