Slight bumps on penis shaft

I used to be fairly sexually active, and about half a year ago I noticed a number of bumps on proximal part of my penis shaft. There is a chance that the bumps developed a day after intercourse with a sex-worker, but a condom was used.

The bumps are slightly lighter than flesh-coloured, do not itch, and are all hemispherical in shape. They do not cluster and do not look like any STD pictures I have googled. They are 1mm in diameter, some being slightly larger and some slightly smaller. There are about 6 or so on both sides of the shaft, but none in the centre.
The appearance is similar to the raised bumps seen when a pubic hair is pulled.

These bumps have not appeared to spread since they came about.

It would be greatly appreciated if you could let me know a possible cause for these bumps could be and if they are contagious.
