Penile Yeast Infection Won't Go Away

When I went on holiday several years ago, I masturbated in the bathroom and developed a small friction-burn on my foreskin. Thinking nothing of it, I left it and got on with my day. At night, I found a lot of white discharge on the head and foreskin of the penis, which would not go away. When I came home, I used anti-dandruff shampoo and found most of the discharge disappeared.

However, there are still about 5 small "nodes" of the white discharge which will not go away. The reason they will not move is because they seem to be under the skin itself. I have successfully removed several by using foot verruca treatment to burn them off my foreskin, which hurt. The problem is that I still have several left and one of them (just under the frenulum) is actually growing. I've tried removing it several times with it returning every time.

There is no irritation or itching. I can pick these white nodes off (when they get too big) but they keep returning. I am not overly concerned but really want to know if there is a way to fix this for good. I also went to the doctor several years ago, received hydrocortisone treatment which did nothing.

I am pretty sure it's a candida infection.
