Small bump on lower lip, what could it be?

I’ve noticed a small bump on my lower lip for about 2-3 weeks now. It is painless. Has scabbed just a tiny bit closer to the outer line of the lip, when I picked at it, nothing came out besides on dot of blood. When I lick my lips, that small tiny bump is the only part of the lips that feels very smoothly, as if nothing is under the layer. The rest feels smooth. And today I have noticed it has red lines Inside, as if it’s blood running through it? I’m not sure but I’m worried. Dont know what it could be, all I was thinking is I might’ve bit it too much and now is like this?

Since you have picked at it and bitten it, what you are seeing could be a result of that- keep an eye on it and if it stops getting better head into your doctor to have them take a look.

I picked at it last night, today is when I noticed the red lines. And my lip now is feeling abit heavy on that spot. Could it be a sign of it actually getting better?
I don't know that it feeling heavy is a sign of it getting better or worse- I'd still lean on not picking at it again and just watching for signs of healing.  If you are really concerned though, for your own peace of mind, you should get to the doctor so they can take a look.  Let us know how you are doing!
