Small itchy red bump, Please help!

Hi everyone i have been freaking out about this small itchy red bump on my arm because this is the second time one appeared . The first one looks exactly how my recent one looks now (picture) but now after treating it with hydrocortisone, the bump went away and now its a flat surface except that area turned my skin white. I have an idea that it might be a spider bite but I am not sure. This bump is quite small, circle shaped, it irritates, and it has two little holes as if i got bitten. Please tell me what it is, if it is a spider bite or not, and what i can do to prevent this, what meds you recommend and what type of spider it is.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
One possibility for such symptoms is of insect bite. The other possibility is of contact dermatitis You can apply an anti-itch cream or lotion to the affected area. Oral antihistamine, such as Benadryl can also be used. You should take a comfortably cool bath and wear smooth-textured cotton clothing. You should choose mild soaps without dyes or perfumes and use a mild, unscented laundry detergent when washing clothes, towels and bedding.

If the symptoms persist then please get an evaluation done from a dermatologist.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.

Thank you very much for your medical advice. I do believe it might be an insect bite because it has not gotten any worse, I have not treated it with any thing except soap and water and it is slowly disappearing, I just put a bandaged over it just so there is no bacteria or possible contact dermatitis affecting it. I was very worried because I am allergic to metals and I been a victim of contact dermatitis before, but again your reply was very helpful and I am not worried anymore. Thank you and I really appreciate it!
