Sticky eyelids after shower

This has been going on for a while and I think it's gradually getting worse. When I get out of the shower my eyelids feel unbearably sticky once the water is off of them. I've tried using different soaps on them that I've been using but no results. I've put conditioner on them right before I get out of the shower and leave it on and wipe it away when I finish drying off the rest of the body and then dry my eyelids off. It feels absolutely awful until I go to put baby powder on them which fortunately makes the stickiness subside until my next shower. I don't know why it's like this. I don't remember them being this sticky a year ago. Maybe it's because of my recent sweets consumption or the humid weather or another unknown cause. Any help would be appreciated.

Both a diet high in sugar and humid weather can contribute to skin fungal conditions.

1. Stop putting anything on the eye area that isn't intended to be used on the eye area, this will only cause further issues and poses real safety risks.
2. Don't use any face creams/products that contain fragrance or harsh chemicals.
3. Start eating a more balanced diet and stick to whole foods; Skin is our biggest organ - if we eat crap, it will look like crap lol.
4. Could be fungal infection like an imbalance of healthy skin bacteria (yeast overgrowth?)
5. Ask your pharmacist/family physician about a steroidal cream like hydrocortisone.
