Stretch Mark help ? Greatly appreciated !!!

I am a 29 year old male with some skin marking concerns.  At first I was concerned I might have an STD but after ruling that out and researching straie I think that's what I have.  The markings are only in between my upper inner thighs.  They have over time become crepe paper like feeling but the skin is definitely indented and these markings are really itchy somedays and other days not so much.  I am concerned that these might not be stretch marks after all.  Im wondering is there any skin disorders similar to stretch marks characteristics that only would attack this certain specific area between my upper inner thighs ?  Also I have not been gaining or losing any weight so not sure,  if they are stretch marks, why they started happening.  I first noticed them over two years ago and they have since become more widespread over time but still staying located inside my inner upper thighs only.  Another concern is that they do seem to be moving up my thighs to the skin that crosses from where my inner thigh is and my scrotum skin begins.  Would straie continue this far up or could this maybe be something else that has stretch mark characteristics.  I have tried to look up other possibilities and can't find anything.  Any help would be greatly appreciated !!!! Thanks very much.

HI,

Are there other signs or symptoms present? Stretch marks or striae, are a form of scarring on the skin caused by tearing of the dermis. This could be due to rapid stretching of the skin associated with rapid growth , weight gain or during rapid muscle growth. Stretch marks can appear anywhere on the body, especially in places where larger amounts of fat are stored such as the abdomen, breasts, upper arms, underarms, thighs (both inner and outer), hips, and buttocks. This includes the skin going to your groin but not your scrotum. No stretch marks will form as long as there is support within the dermis. Stretching plays more of a role in where the marks occur and in what direction they run.

Various treatments are available for the purpose of improving the appearance of existing stretch marks. This includes laser treatments, dermabrasion, and prescription retinoids. If it persists, it would be best to have this evaluated by your doctor.

Take care and keep us posted.
