Sudden unknown small bruises under chin

I woke up this morning with small red bruises under my chin. They are pinpoint and almost symmetrical in nature. It almost looks as if I accidentally fell asleep on a hair brush (I did not by the way). I don’t have any other symptoms and I don’t take any prescriptions. They also don’t hurt or itch, but are slightly tender (like a bruise). I don’t think it’s an allergy, as I haven’t used or eaten anything different than usual, and I also looked around my bedroom to see if I could have hit my chin on something while sleeping. It’s a bit frightening looking so I’m a little concerned. Any ideas what this could be?
