Sunburn area feels like constant bee stings without stopping.

Hi, I'm a 50 year old male and my question is about sunburn. Ever since I've been a young man I've had to avoid the sun because even if I just got a slight sunburn it was misery for at least 24 hours after because of a bee sting sensation that was constant all over the area burnt, mostly chest and back. I have 3 brothers and I know 2 of my brothers also experience this misery. I was diagnosed with sle 7 or 8 years ago and I'm not sure if that has anything to do with that. My concern is that my 24 year old son just got sunburnt and is experiencing the same issues. Like I said it's complete misery and aloe lotions or other treatments don't do anything except make it worse. I also along with lupus diagnoses have had malignant melanoma cancer. I've ask a doctor about this constant stinging while sunburnt and he didn't really give me a diagnosis. When I was a teenager I wanted something that would just knock me out. My son has a really good job and it's more difficult for him to take meds that would keep him from being Abe to do his job. Please help if you have an answer.
