Swollen bottom lip?

The other day my bottom lip was tingling on the right side, but i didn't think anything of it because i had a pimple coming up just below my lip so i thought that was it. The next day the right side of my bottom lip was swollen and was bigger by night time. The next day, today, it is very swollen. I ruled out the pimple because it is just about gone now,but the swollen lip remains. I've never had a problem like this before. Why is this happening?

well today i was doing yard work and i picked up a log out of a planter and 7 black widows ran out but none got on me and randomly my middle lower lip started tingling and burning and felt weird so i went in the restroom and looked in the mirror and it was swelling really fast and i have MRSA and get wounds alot and the last one i got had to have surgery, so i wonder if it could be a black widow bite or another MRSA wound appearing and i lived in a brown reclusa infested apartment and got bit on my leg and the spider had MRSA so plz help??

The other night I woke to a feeling that my lower lip was swollen.  I didn't pay too much attention and went back to sleep.  It has been a couple of days and had forgot about it.  Now sitting at my computer I feel the sensation in my bottom lip like it is starting to swell.  However, looking in the mirror I find that it doesn't look swollen, but the sensation is there.  Any ideas???
Thank you in advance and look forward to hearing from someone.

My 98-year-old, bedridden mom awoke one morning with her lower lip jutting out, red and somewhat painful she said. It's even more noticeable when she eats.  It just stays out there. She is currently on the last day of an antibiotic for a UTI, no other meds otherwise.  Any ideas?
Thanks!

yesterday I had woken up and gone to work and noticed my bottom lip was a little swollen. I didnt think anything of it until I got home and told my husband about it and showed him. Its not a cold sore and well today it has doubled in size. I havent eaten anything out of the ordinary and only half of my lower lip is swollen. Not quite sure what to do about it I just keep putting on chapstick so it doesnt crack and hurt even more

4 days ago I pinched my lip and and a round blister with a scab in the middle came up.  I pinched it again and tried to pull the scab off.  Now my lower lip only is swolen more than ever 3 to 4 days later.  I have the fatest lower lip ever.  Very painful and lips are getting red around the edge due to swelling.  Is this viral or bacterial or both.  Is this herpies?  There is considerable yellow thick puss inside but docs have told me not to touch it.  Going to better hospital tomorrow.  They gave me cephalexin for now.

Hi,

This could be due to allergic reaction to some unknown substance, insect bite, etc.

You need to drink plenty of water and also keep your lips well moisturised. Apply a medicated lip balm with a sunscreen to avoid damage due to the sun.

If your lesions still persist, it would be best to see a skin specialist for a confirmed diagnosis and to rule out any other cause of the spot.

Are you allergic to any substances? What symptoms do you have other than the lip lesion? What is your age? Do you smoke?

Let us know if you have any other doubts and also about what the specialist advises.

Hope this helps.

Good luck.
