Swollen lower lip

Ten days ago I was doing gardening.  Especially Calle Lill.  The. My lips started to swell up.  The top lip is now normal.  Just have swelling on bottom left lip. It seems that is a soft painful lump there. My ENT has been checking it. Doesn't know what it is.   He doesn't think it is Cancer but I am seeing a Dermatologist this week. Would appreciate your comments. Thank you

Roses used to make my lip swell if I tried to sniff a rose, but after stopping intake of gluten, I no longer had this allergy.

Other plants I reacted to were hellebores and angel trumpet (Brugmansia).

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
This lump can be a small cyst, hematoma, mucocele (if present on the inside of lower lip) or a benign growth of the lips. Since the lump is painless and not changing in size, all these possibilities need to be evaluated. However sudden swelling of the lips is usually due to angioedema or allergic reaction.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your dermatologist. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
