Telangiectasias and redness

Hi. My dermatologist recommends long term low dose oral Isotretinoin for resistant rosacea co-existing with adult acne (there is no risk of pregnancy). He says this will reduce telangiectasias and redness. I thought retinoids made telangiectasias and redness worse? Or is that just topical retinoids?
I would value your advice.
Thanks, Eloise.

I looked up the chemical formula and it looks like pretty serious stuff

I wouldn't take it

Chemical Formula:  C20 H28 O2

The 2-butoxyethanol chemical that I have seriously looked into for causing so much health damage and autoimmune issues, CFIDS in particular has this chemical formula:

C6 H14 O2

and 2(2-butoxyethanol) such as is in scrubbing bubbles & fireman's foam is:

C8 H18 O3

I was surprised to find that ibuprofen has this chemical formula:

C13 H18 02

& the MSDS on it says it is harmful to blood and organs

I'm not aware of this use of isotretinoin.  I do know that the manufacturer does not recommend long-term, low-dose isotretinoin, and there is little or no scientific literature bearing on the subject of long-term low-dose use of this drug.  You might consider a short course of isotretinoin, antibiotic treatment, or laser therapy.

Best.
