Tinea versicolor and pregnancy?

Hi all! I was wondering how to treat or manage times versicolor safely while pregnant? Thankfully I am all clear but I had my first experience during my first pregnancy but wasn't diagnosed til after the birth of my second daughter ( started tanning and it exploded oops...) so knowing it may come back it would be nice to be prepared my spots just got back to normal at least they aren't as noticeable. Not to be vain or dramatic but being preggo is hard enough without looking like a dalmation or being super itvhy. Are selsun blue treatments still safe with cooking a baby that is the best prevention I can think of? Thanks ahead of time for any advice and best wishes to all who read this novel lol!

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
Since you are pregnant, it is best to avoid any form of topical or oral antifungal treatment till delivery or atleast till the first trimester when organogenesis occurs. After that, treatment involves topical and oral antifungal medicines which should be used only under prescription.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
