Tiny Red Dots on Skin

About three weeks ago I noticed the sudden appearance of 5-6 small (pin-point sized) red dots on my skin. The marks blanch when pressed, so obviously filled with blood. They do not each and are flat, seemingly just under the skin. Imagine you took a ball-point pin and made the mark. I have two on my legs, three on my stomach, and one on my left hand. What would cause these new marks? Is this something to be concerned about? I had bloodwork done at the end of September 2018, which was normal.
