Tiny white beads on the scalp

I have tiny white beads on my scalp and they don’t just fall off if I rub my hair. They would only come off if I use my fingertip to pick them off. I don’t feel much itchiness, maybe only at night. My mum said it might be lice so I’ve bought lice treatment and there still appears to be the white beads. So I don’t think it’s lice. I then tried dandruff shampoo and it didn’t get rid of it either. A few other symptoms are that whenever I wash my hair, a hand full of hair would fall out and I’ve realised how much thinner my hair has become compared to before. Also at night time I would feel once or twice itchiness and sometimes I feel like an insect is crawling on my scalp. Please help!!
