I am a male and have been seeing another for many months. After discussion, health history, and past experiences, we decided to proceed unprotected (I know...not good). We have engaged in anal and oral sex. About two weeks after our last contact (which was oral--he received), he contacted me that he has a rash on his foreskin. He has not described anything, other than it could resemble Balantis. I have never had any symptoms of anything (until I remembered).... If I shave with a dull razor, and try to shave up first, then down, I often times get a series of miniscule blisters under my lip. If I shave them again, they weep, dry, crust, and heal. A dull razor always results in the same thing and it is my sign to get a new razor. Regardless, they burn and it feels irritated until they go away. When I shave, some of them bleed a little instead of weeping. It is also much worse when I am out in the sun. I know that you need to see and test to give an exact answer, but it is a few days before my friend is going to the doctor and will be awhile longer before I can visit a doctor. Based on my results, does it sound like HSV1 or more like contact dermatitis or razor burn?
