What could it be, herpes? rash? allergic reaction to something?

Hello people, one day I was just laying down, and I got a big rush of uncontrollable itching, on my face, behind my ears, I developed from what I could tell small bumps under my eye on my cheek, my ears became itchy, as well as my pelvis, and shaft and little tiny bumps appeared there as well, i panicked about the ones on my shaft so i popped them, and i iced the ones on my face and ears, as well as itched heavily on all areas, this began on the 15th and as time went by, my face and genital area as well as my ears dried out heavily and flaked, it is the 19th and i used moisturizer on my face and genitals and it seemed to help a lot to the point where you no longer notice anything was even there except for the couple spots i popped and pealed myself on my shaft of course. now I did have sex with a woman I was seeing who is clean ,on September 4th which was 11 days earlier before this outbreak, immediately the day after we had sex I had a cold, no fever or anything and no bumps of any kind so it wasn't the primary outbreak, but on the 11-or12 of Sept I had a really bad sore throat for a few days until I took cold medicine and felt better, but that was the only symptom I was aware of and it went away, then on the 15th the bumps and itching appeared on my face and ears and the rash and bumps appeared on my shaft, and on the 19th after i used moisturizer it looks like i cleared it up, is it genital herpes? if so why is is my face drying out and why was it so itchy as well, and if it is herpes why did moisturizer help just 4 days after my outbreak and cleared my dry skin right up? I could be paranoid, I also take weekly allergy shots so I'm wondering if  that was a possibility.
