What is this????

I'm sorry. I'm not sure I'm in the right forum but, I'm a black male who has never had any sign of STDs and I haven't had unprotected sex in about 8 years. I recently started dating someone and had unprotected sex. About
an hour afterward I started experiencing some itching near the head on my penis.
I took a shower and noticed 3 dark grey flat marks on the underside of my penis near the base of the head.
Is this herpes?  I'm sooo terrified that I received something but, ever more so to pass on something.  What has happened to me????  I am depressed and a bit
afraid.

Welcome to the Dermatology Expert Forum!

What you have experienced is most likely irritation caused by friction and possible contact with some chemicals (for example, it could be from genitally applied lubricant, topical contraceptive, etc.).

On average, incubation period for genital herpes is about one week.

If lesions do not resolve in a few days, you should visit your dermatologist.

Wishing You Optimal Health,
Dr. Jasmina Jankicevic
