MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
It looks like contact dermatitis which has got infected. Avoid using any lotions and creams over the face for the meantime. Wash your face with a mild cleanser with moisturizing properties like Cetaphil. Pat your face dry. Then apply a good hypoallergenic moisturizer over the area and see if this improves. If the symptoms still persist then you can apply mild steroid like dermacort and some topical antibiotic cream like Mupirocin or Neosporin. If the symptoms persist then you may need oral antibiotics.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your dermatologist. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.

It was contact dermatitis and is infected.  So, I got an injection of Kenalog and topical prednisone as well as 10mg pill form prednisone and Keflex......

It must have happened when my son hugged me the other night when he got home from camp.  He is up to my chin and my chin touched his hair (before he showered after camp)... So, I'm fairly susceptible to breakouts caused by weeds and grasses so he must have touched one that my body wasn't thrilled about.

My face has finally quit burning.  It started burning after my post and wouldn't quit so I went to the doctor's office.
