What is wrong with my facial skin?!

Since I was 12 years old, I have had a splotchy rash on my forehead. I have been to the dermatologist, and he prescribed a topcial gel. It didn't work. I went again, and was prescribed another topical gel...it did not work either. I was prescribed a pill for acne, and once again, the prescription failed. I am now almost twenty, and my forehead is still the same, only now it is spread to my temples and on my cheeks right under my eyes, beside my nose. The rest of my cheek area is clear almost all of the time. The break-outs are not white heads or black heads, they are just little red bumps. It almost looks like a heat rash. I just recently tried pro-activ, and the repairing lotion made me itch and I broke out. I do not know what else to do! Sometimes it will start clearing up, then other times, it begins to flare again. I don't know if I am allergic to something that I'm unaware of, because nothing is working, and this has been almost eight years now. I don't know what to do! I could really use some help.

I to have such a condition. When it gets wet from me taking a shower or going swimming the skin becomes all nasty to where I have to wipe it off my face. Then after that it gets all red and then the next day it will get all flaky. It first started on the sides of my nose and then moved out to my cheeks. I went to a dermatologists where I was prescribed 3 different kinds of steroid lotions. None of which worked, but only seemed to make matters worse since it then spread to my cheeks. Other than that I have found nothing to help cure it. Please let me know if you have figured anything out.

I might have a similar condition as you, let me know if you find anything that helps or figure out what it is (email) ***@****

here's my story I posted,

Hello, I've seen a dermatologist about a skin condition that I have on my face, but they could not figure out what it was. It did not fit into any categories of skin conditions like acne, rosacea, etc. They tried many oral and topical medications but nothing worked.

Here are some links to pictures,

It's not itchy, it looks like my pores are red and irritated, there are also raised red dots. Redness increases if I get too hot or if my face is touched (like when i wash my face or put lotion on). Cetaphil is the only lotion I can use that does not irritate it, and if I don't keep it moisturized it becomes flakey. The "rash" is only on my face, mainly on my nose, cheeks, and the middle of my forehead just above my nose.

I have had times where the skin around my eyes became extremely dry, flakey, and painful, and anything except Cetaphil lotion caused great stinging.

About 5 years ago I accidentally washed my face with dish soap (Dawn) and it caused a painful red reaction, and I've had this condition ever since.

What do you think this could be? Also, do you think a lazer peel would help it? Thank you so much!
