Whats wrong with my skin???

Okay, i have tried an experiment. I have for 3 days, only washed my face with water 2 times/1 time a day, WITHOUT PUTTING MOISTURE ON after.

After 3 days my skin situation is like this:

Dry skin, if you feel the skin, its very very very very dry. I have actually gotten dry red spots in the butterfly area. The spots are around 1 cm in diameter, and i have got 6-7 om them. They are REALLY red, and feels so dry. They also peel a good bit. If I try to rub either the dry red spots, or just random around in my face(all this only in the butterfly area), lots, i mean really many, dead skin cells starts peeling. So many dead skin cells, that you should think I had a mud mask on or something. Between my eyebrows started it with a lot of peeling, and then it just got really really red, and started to itch, and when I rubbed it, it got crazy red. I have allways got random spots that was seriously itching, and when I touched them, they just got red, not only the spot, but also the area near it. Its not acne, just spots that itch like hell!. I also got some om them.

I mean when "normal" people wash their face, they dont get red dry spots, they dont even get dry. This is happens to me.. Plz help me..

And this is only with water. Have anyone an idea of why my skin acts like this? - Anyone knows what might be wrong with my skin?, I mean does it sound like a skin diseases you know off?

Hi,
Xerosis is the medical term for dry skin. It can have many different causes  such as too much sun, windburn, harsh soaps and cleansers, aging ,diet and insufficient water intake.
You can start to fix your problem by drinking plenty of water. Also applying certain creams and moisturizers will help. Vitamin E enriched skin creams work to strengthen skin from the inside.
YOur diet should include Evening Primrose oil, flaxseed oil or Omega 3 oils derived from fish. All of these nutritional supplements have been shown to increase skin's elasticity, its rebuilding capacity and its moisture. You can get these treatments at any health food store, and most pharmacies carry them too.

Continue to wash only with water and avoid rubbing your face to prevent flaking of skin.
